~FRIENDS OF SHIO KARATE CLUB ~
I-SHIN is a worldwide karate organization originating in Berlin, Germany in the early 1970's. I-SHINHonbu is located in Delray Beach, FL.
"Through Shihan's advanced training methods my eyes became open to see a brave new world of karate-do and it's endless possibilities. I am forever grateful for your support as a friend, and my teacher. Osu!"~Sensei Kate
~HONBU ~
In 2008, Sensei Kate knocked on many doors to find a location for a "not-for-profit" karate club. Pastor Carla Costantino &
St. John's United Methodist Church in Hope, NJ allowed us this privilege.
On May 15, 2008
SHIO KARATE CLUB was born an opened its doors to all that were interested in karate training. Some came from other karate schools, some were brand new to karate-do.
But all are welcomed!
~SHIO KARATE CLUB FAMILY~
In August of 2008, I had the distinct pleasure of working with long time friend and karate brother, Sensei Adam Casinha.
Together we created Shio Karate Club's Kata Archive which is now used on a regular basis by many students world-wide!!!
Sensei Adam's 30+ years of international karate experience guides and encourages me to continue towards greatness through karate-do both as a student and instructor.
As my only remaining Sensei, from Kokoro Karate International, you provide exemplary guidance in the realm of effective teaching methods through KATA. Visit often my friend! Osu!" -Sensei Kate
